Self-healing injection ports (S.H.I.P.) are typically installed onto jar lids and assist with preventing contaminations during innoculations or when withdrawing liquid cultures. Our S.H.I.P.s can withstand many pokes before needing replacing. Made from butyl rubber and can be sterilized in an autoclave.
